Rhipsalis Hanging Basket 'Mistletoe Cactus'

Maybe it's because the macramé hanging planters just keep coming. Or maybe it's because these little beauties are so easy to take care of. But we really think we're going to be seeing a lot of the Mistletoe Cactus in the coming years. It's a succulent that's perfect for hanging baskets.

They prefer bright . indirect light . which is great news for your windowsill real estate . and as for watering . just steer clear of extremes and you should be ok. What we mean by that is don't let any standing water accumulate in the pot or in a drainage saucer . but also don't let it dry out completely like a typical cactus or succulent.

Here's some care bullet points to make this even easier:

• Keep in a bright room

• Water only when at least the top 2-4cm of soil are dry . water thoroughly

• Use a container with drainage! Prefer bright indirect light
